SHAHZEB M SHAH

About Me

Shahzeb Shah is a Pakistani-American actor, writer, and director completing his final year as a Northwestern University Theatre student. Born in the suburbs of Atlanta, Shahz (to his friends) was drawn to media at an early age, bonding with his parents and older brother over countless Bollywood and Pixar movies.

Throughout his time at Northwestern, Shahzeb has fell in love with the performing arts, in both film and theatre. As an actor, writer, and director across both spaces, he has worked on several shows and short films, most recently acting as Pastor Greg in Hand to God. In the Spring, he will be acting in two short films while also writing, directing, and acting in his own final film at Northwestern.

Outside of film and theatre, Shahz is also the Captain of the NU Bhangra Dance Team, and has loved getting to choreograph, perform, and compete across the country. He has also pursued a double major in Cognitive Science alongside Design & Human-Computer Interaction, and is incredibly interested in the unique intersection of performance and technology.

Shahzeb is a lover of new work, innovative performing arts, and truly sees the performing arts as a vessel for social impact!
